The B9031 between Sandhaven and Rosehearty has been closed to all traffic following a collision between a red Rover 25 and a grey VW Passat. The incident happened shortly after 1pm. A spokeswoman for the police said an air ambulance is currently on the scene to attend to one female occupant of the cars. The extent of her injuries are unknown, although they have been classed as “serious”. The spokeswoman said: “There has been a serious collision between Sandhaven and Rosehearty, and police are in attendance. “It was reported at about 1.20pm. There is one female with serious injuries.” Motorists are being advised to avoid the area.
