A teenager was taken to hospital after a three-car crash on a busy Aberdeen road this afternoon. Police, ambulance and fire services were called to the scene of the incident on Berryden Road, close to the roundabout at Elm Place, just after 1pm. The road was shut while emergency teams attended the scene and fire fighters cut one person free from a vehicle. A police spokeswoman could not confirm the extent of any injuries. A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We received a call at 1320 hours today to attend a road traffic collision on Berryden Road. “We dispatched one ambulance to the scene. “One male patient in his teens was taken to the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.”
