A north-east woman, who carried out a string of attacks on elderly men in Aberdeen, has been ordered to carry out unpaid work.
Adele Newell physically attacked three victims before ransacking their pockets looking for money.
She confessed to the offences during an appearance at Aberdeen Sheriff Court last month.
On that occasion, the court heard she had targeted James Hay on School Drive after befriending him, and punched him in the eye and knocked him to the ground.
She then brought another man into the home, punched him in the eye and knocked him to the ground.
She also targeted Vijay Wanchoo by following him towards his home on Jasmine Way.
She pushed the 71-year-old and repeatedly searched his pockets for money.
The 49-year-old also went after Stuart Barrack who invited her into his home on Seaton House in December 2012.
She pushed Mr Barrack, who has since died, up against a door and took a £5 note from his pockets.
And yesterday Sheriff Andrew Miller ordered her to carry out 210 hours of unpaid work for the offences.
She will also be under supervision for a year.
