The coastguard was alerted to a person in distress at 1.26pm. The woman has now been taken into the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service. A coastguard spokesman said: “We sent the Inshore Lifeboat to assist a person who was in difficulty. “The situation has been resolved and her injuries are not thought to be serious.”
