A woman has been taken to hospital after falling off a horse in Rosehearty.
Emergency services were called at around 4pm following reports of someone in distress in the village.
The woman has now been airlifted to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary (ARI) but it is unclear how serious the injuries are.
A police spokesman said: “We were made aware of the incident involving a woman falling off a horse at 4.15pm but were only involved for traffic purposes.
“The ambulance informed us about it.”
