Officers are appealing for witnesses after a garage was broken into and two high value mountain bikes stolen.
The incident happened during the early hours of Monday at an address in the Garthdee Farm Gardens area of Aberdeen.
The bikes stolen were a mint blue coloured Orange Stage 6 Factory Edition Enduro Mountain Bike (pictured) and a silver Marin Mount Vision. Collectively the bikes are valued at a mid four-figure sum of money.
Constable Matthew Lawson said: “We would ask that anyone who saw anything unusual or suspicious in the Garthdee Farm Gardens area gets in touch with us on 101 quoting incident number 0587 of 16/10.
“We would also ask that anyone who is offered similar bikes for sale and is concerned as to where they may have come from contacts us. You can also contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 to remain anonymous.”
