The emergency services were called to the scene of the incident on Manor Avenue, close to the junction with Provost Rust Drive, at around 4.55pm. Police officers found smoke coming out of one of the cars, and a person trapped inside another. Firefighters at the scene requested the road be closed while they cut the individual free. The extent of any injuries suffered is currently unknown.
