A house fire which killed an Aberdeen mother is not being treated as suspicious, police said today. Firefighters were called to Shapinsay Square, in the city’s Sheddocksley area, on Monday night but could not save the 39-year-old inside. Neighbours named her as Victoria Eighteen, also known as Fallon, and said it was a tragedy. A joint investigation involving police and the Scottish Fire & Rescue Service took place following the incident. Detective Inspector Norman Stevenson, who has led inquiries, said: “Our thoughts are with Victoria’s family and friends at this very difficult time.”
