70-year-old charged after toddler struck by car in Aberdeen

A 70-year-old man from Aberdeen has been charged after a toddler was injured in an collision with a car.
The three-year-old girl sustained minor injuries and was taken to the city’s hospital as a precaution after the incident on Auchmill Road, near Chalmers Bakery, Bucksburn, at around 12.30pm.
A report has now been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal and the man charged will appear at court next month.
Road Policing Sergeant Steve Manson said: “I would like to thank the public for their help and support in tracing this vehicle.
“We are still appealing for anyone with dash-cam footage from around the time in question to please get in touch by calling Police on 101 quoting incident no. 1418 of 23/10.”
