When it comes to the football last night, plenty of Dons fans will be saying “I Don’t Want To Talk About It.”
But some north-east folk did get to enjoy the company of legendary rocker Rod Stewart before Aberdeen’s 3-0 defeat to his favourite team, Celtic.
The die-hard Hoops fan was at The Silver Darling restaurant in Pocra Quay before the match, and had pictures with his fans and signed the guestbook.
Pictures were posted onto the restaurant’s Facebook page with the caption: “Tonight’s the night. Delighted to host a very special guest for some dinner this evening. #thesilverdarling
Jillian Miller, marketing manager for the restaurant, said: “He was there for a couple of hours for dinner with friends before the football.
“He was the perfect gent and some lucky customers and staff managed to get their picture with him. It was his first visit to The Silver Darling and he loved the place and the food. It was great to welcome a legend like Rod to the restaurant.”
