Police are today appealing for witnesses after two men wearing Halloween masks attempted to rob a woman in a north-east village.
At about 2.40pm yesterday, a woman was confronted in a lane near Claymore Crescent in Boddam.
The two men who had approached her were wearing dark clothes and masks at the time and are described as being of slim build.
Officers are now asking anyone who saw the incident happen, or know who may be involved, to contact them immediately.
Sergeant James Callander said: “Anyone who saw anything unusual or suspicious or saw two men matching the description is asked to contact police on 101 quoting reference CF0316561117 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
