Emergency crews have been called to a digger on fire in Dyce this evening. They received reports of a blaze in an open area south of the industrial state at 9.45pm. Two fire engines were sent from the North Anderson Drive station, with one hose reel jet in use. The flames were extinguished by 10.40pm, when crews were damping down the vehicle. No-one was hurt. A fire investigation will be launched in the morning.
