A 29-year-old man has died after being struck by a car in Aberdeen.
Emergency services were called to the A947 between Stoneywood roundabout and Mugiemoss Road at 12.30am this morning.
A grey Renault Megane and a pedestrian were involved in the accident.
Police said investigations are at an early stage and the road was closed in both directions for some time. It re-opened just after 7am.
Sergeant Rob Warnock, Road Policing Department is appealing for any witnesses who may have seen the grey Renault Megane immediately prior to the collision occurring to contact Police Scotland on 101 and quote incident number PS20171103-0062.
