A man has appeared in court after drugs worth £40,000 were recovered in Aberdeen city centre.
Officers carried out a raid on Guild Street on Tuesday morning and discovered large quantities of cannabis.
Elliott Drury appeared in Aberdeen Sheriff Court yesterday charged with supplying drugs.
The 26-year-old from Liverpool made no plea and was released on bail.
Detective Sergeant Bruce Buntain urged people to contact the police if they have information about drugs.
He said: “Proactive action like this is ongoing on a daily basis to ensure the north-east remains a safe place to live.
“I urge the public to help us continue to do this by letting us know if you have concerns about drug misuse so we can target our resources to the right places and at the right times.
“Police can be contacted on 101, or phone crimestoppers if you would prefer to remain anonymous.”
