Three fire engines were called out to a tenement in Jasmine Terrace, Aberdeen just after 3.30pm this afternoon. Crews used two breathing apparatus, a ventilation fan and hose reel jet, with the flames extinguished in under 15 minutes. It is understood a pan of meat had caught fire. The man was given first aid at the scene by firefighters, but did not need to be taken to hospital. Fire crews had left the scene by 4pm.
