Officers in Ellon continue to appeal for witnesses following an attempted robbery at the Casa Salvatore restaurant in Ellon.
The incident happened at around 6.40pm on Monday.
Officers are looking to trace a man in connection with inquiries. He is described as 5ft 8ins tall and of slim build. He was wearing a black hooded top with the hood up and had a baseball cap on underneath. He was also wearing black jeans and black trainers with orange piping round the soles.
Inspector Graeme Penny said: “A group of youths are known to have been outside the restaurant around the time of this incident, and are likely to have witnessed a man entering the premises. I would request that these youths, or anyone who may have information leading to the identity of these youths contacts the Police via the Non-Emergency number, 101 quoting incident number 3096 of 13/11.”
