Kevin Thain was jailed after he was convicted of an offence at Aberdeen Sheriff Court in March 2015. The Scottish Prison Service yesterday confirmed that the 38-year-old passed away on October 30. Police Scotland have been advised and the matter will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal. His family have been informed and a fatal accident inquiry could be held at a later date. The Scottish Prison Service said they could not provide any information about his death.
