Fire crews were sent to cut free a person trapped after a two-vehicle smash in the north-east this evening.
The crash happened on the B974 Marykirk to Fettercairn road near Marykirk shortly before 6pm.
The person trapped did not suffer serious injuries and was treated by the ambulance service at the scene.
A fire service spokesman said: “We were in attendance at a two-vehicle RTC. We freede the trapped person using hydraulic cutting equipment, lighting and stabilisation equipment.”
