The death of a 26-year-old man in Aberdeen is being treated as “non-suspicious”, police confirmed today.
Officers along with the Scottish Ambulance Service were called to The Travelodge carpark, Inverurie Road, at around 12.10pm on Tuesday after the body of a 26-year-old man was discovered within a parked black Ford Transit van.
The force has confirmed that following inquiries into the incident they are satisfied that it is a non-suspicious death.
Detective Inspector David Howieson said: “I would like to thank the public for their assistance whilst we dealt with this incident. We are satisfied that there are no suspicious circumstances and a report will now be sent to the Procurator Fiscal, as is standard in all sudden deaths. Our thoughts remain with the man’s family at this sad time. “
