A female pedestrian was seriously injured after being struck by a car on a north-east road.
The 73-year-old was on the B999 Tarves to Pitmedden Road at East Newseat of Tolquhon, when she collided with a Ford Fiesta which was travelling towards Pitmedden at around 5.30pm yesterday.
Sgt Henderson, Road Policing Unit, is appealing for witnesses who have not yet spoken with police, to contact 101 quoting incident number 2611, with any further information.
“In particular, we are trying to trace the driver of a motor car travelling towards Traves at the time of the collision,” he added.
