North-east road closed after pile-up

A road has been closed after a pile-up which has reportedly involved five cars.

The collision happened on Huntly’s Gordon Street close to its junction with Market Street at about 12.30pm.

There are believed to be five vehicles involved and fire crews and the ambulance service are at the scene.

However it is not believed that anyone to have been badly injured.

Police have shut the road and urged people to avoid the area if possible.
