A man and woman both aged 22 from the local area are anticipated to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today following the recovery of cannabis with an estimated street value of around £9000.
The recovery was made in the Stockethill area of the city on Friday.
Detective Constable Kayleigh McLean said: “As a result of intelligence a significant quantity of drugs has been seized which would have been destined for our communities.
“The illegal supply of drugs can only cause damage to our communities and targeting those intent on involving themselves in this will remain a priority for us.
“Please continue to let us know your concerns by contacting Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 to remain anonymous.”
