The fire service were called at 11.07am and dispatched one crew from Stonehaven to the scene, where a vehicle was fully alight in a bus layby. Two further appliances from Stonehaven and Altens Community Fire Station were also dispatched. A spokesman said four breathing apparatuses (BA) were used as well as one hose and chocks and blocks in order to stabilise the vehicle. BA has now been discontinued and the crew are currently dampening down. According to Traffic Scotland, all lanes have now reopened on the A90 soutbound at the Bridge of Muchalls.
