Storm Caroline: Aberdeen Christmas Village to close tomorrow

The Aberdeen Christmas Village will be closed tomorrow as the region braces itself for Storm Caroline.

It is expected to hit the Grampian area tomorrow morning and the Met Office has issued an amber alert warning of 80mph gusts of wind.

Aberdeen Inspired said due to the adverse weather conditions predicted for tomorrow. the “Christmas Village will be closed until 5pm”.

“It will then be assessed for re-opening and an announcement will be made. The safety and care of the public is our priority, we are sorry for any inconvenience.”
