Police have urged motorists to be careful as icy conditions cause problems in the north.
The force said due to freezing conditions overnight there are still some areas with snow/ice making driving conditions hazardous for some today.
“Please drive cautiously as ice on the road may not be obvious. The speed limit for the road may not be the safest speed to drive at #dontriskit”, the warning added.
Areas including Fyvie on the A947, Peterhead, the A90, A950 and the A952 were particularly badly hit.
Roads in Oban and the Western Isles were also suffering from icy conditions and many parts of the Highlands woke up to a blanket of snow.
