Police have launched a murder inquiry following the suspicious death of a man in Aberdeen.
Emergency services attended a property at Alexander Terrace in the Tillydrone area yesterday morning where a body was discovered.
The death is being treated as suspicious and a woman was detained last night to assist officers with inquiries.
Detective Inspector Gary Winter, who is leading the investigation, said: “I can reassure the public that this was a contained, isolated incident and that at no point was there any threat to the wider public.
“Officers will remain at the scene throughout today to carry out further inquiries.”
