The family of Aberdeen man Alan Cowie said they are “shocked and saddened” by his sudden death.
The 65-year-old’s body was found by emergency services at his home on Tillydrone’s Alexander Terrace on Wednesday, at about 10am.
Last night police confirmed that a 52-year-old woman had been charged in connection with his death and is expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today.
In a statement released through the police, his relatives said: “As a family we have been left shocked and saddened by Alan’s sudden death. We would ask for privacy at this difficult time as we try to come to terms with our loss.”
Neighbours have also paid tribute to the “lovely guy”.
