Firefighters were called after a derelict shed caught fire on an Aberdeen street this afternoon.
A crew was called to Western Road, in Woodside, shortly after 4pm.
A spokeswoman for the fire service said: “There was a shed on fire at a property on Western Road.
“A crew from Aberdeen was called out, and used two breathing apparatus while putting out the flames.”
The matter was dealt with by about 4.20pm.
The incident follows four instances of sheds being set alight in the Bridge of Don area earlier this week.
Police say they are treating those blazes as suspicious, but could not confirm whether today’s fire on Western Road was also being investigated as deliberate.
A spokesman said: “The fire service contacted us, asking us to speak to the council about securing the site.
“But there is no information at this stage to suggest that anything untoward has happened.”
