An Aberdeenshire road has been closed as snow returns to blast the north-east once more.
Police have confirmed that the snow gates in the B974 Cairn o Mount road, between Banchory and Fettercairn, have been shut at both ends due to adverse weather conditions.
The force said there is no indication when the road will be open again.
A webcam maintained by Feughdee West Community Council monitors the road around the snow gate and currently shows the area thick with snow.
