Officers are appealing to the public for assistance after two motorcycles were stolen from a garage at Argyll Place in Aberdeen.
The bikes were taken overnight between 11pm on Friday, January 5, and 8am on Saturday, January 6.
The bikes, a Yamaha YZ85 and a Yamaha YZ250 (pictured), are valued at a low four-figure sum of money.
Properties have also been targeted in the Grove Crescent, Belgrave Terrace and Argyll Place areas and officers are urging residents to remain vigilant.
Detective Constable Greg Manley said: “We would urge anyone who has information in relation to any of these crimes to contact us on 101 using reference 0843 of 6 January. We would also ask that people get in touch if they are offered property for sale which they may have concerns about where it came from.
“We are also encouraging residents to review their security and to ensure that all doors and windows to properties and out houses are locked at all times – even if you are at home.
“It is also worth considering an alarm system and if you see anything unusual report it to police.”
