One man has died and another has been left in hospital following an unexplained incident at a Stonehaven house.
Emergency services were called to a property in the town’s Dunnottar Avenue at around 10.30am yesterday.
They found the body of a 32-year-old man inside. Police are currently treating his death as unexplained.
A second man, aged 35, was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary in what is believed to be a serious condition.
Detective Inspector David Howieson said: “The death is currently being treated as unexplained and inquiries to establish the full circumstances are ongoing.
“This would appear to be an isolated incident and I’d like to thank members of the public for their patience while inquiries are carried out.”
