Workers at the site of the new £333million Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre took to lofty cranes and cherry pickers as they installed windows yesterday.
Construction on the project began in June 2016 and is nearing completion with the 12,500-capacity venue at Bucksburn scheduled to open to the public next year.
Over its first 10 years in operation, the AECC is expected to draw in 4.5million visitors to exhibitions, conferences and concerts by high-profile music stars, which could contribute around £113million to the city’s economy.
