Police have successfully tracked down a dog after it went missing following a crash in Aberdeenshire.
Police were called to the scene of the incident on the B9005 close to Ythanbank shortly after 9am after receiving reports of a collision involving a lorry and a Ford Focus Estate.
Nobody was seriously injured in the incident, however two dogs were reported missing from the Ford Focus.
One of the dogs was recovered soon after the crash, however police spent around two hours trying to catch the Australlian shepherd Autumn.
Police reunited the panicked pooch with its owner shortly after 11am.
