Police are appealing for witnesses after four vehicles were damaged at an underground carpark in the Hammerman Avenue area of Aberdeen.
The vandalism was reported to police at around 6.15am today and officers would like to hear from anyone who saw anything suspicious or unusual during the early hours.
A number of personal items were taken from the cars and some have been recovered. A gate at the car park was also damaged and the estimated cost of this damage is around a low four-figure sum of money.
Investigating officer constable Andrew Flockton said: “We are appealing for anyone who saw anything unusual or suspicious to get in touch with us.
“A number of the vehicles have had their windows smashed and this will be costly for the owners to repair. We understand that this will have been an upsetting incident for residents and additional patrols will be carried out in the area.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 using reference CF0019890118 or speak to any officer.”
