Fire crews attend blaze in north-east toy shop

Emergency services were called to a fire at a north-east toy shop this morning.

The alarm was raised at Steven’s Toymaster shop in Ellon at around 3.40am.

Two appliances from Ellon were sent to the scene and brought the fire under control by 4.21am.

A fire spokeswoman said: “It was a small fire in the commercial property.

“We had two appliances at the scene – no one was hurt.”
