Three men have appeared in court after police recovered more than £25,000 worth of drugs in the north-east this week.
Officers discovered heroin and cocaine in Spital in Aberdeen on Wednesday and later found cannabis when they pulled over a vehicle outside Stonehaven on the A90 Aberdeen to Dundee road yesterday.
Dominic Phillips, 21, from Aylesbury, Everald Lottry, 49, from London, and Ross Ableson, 36, from Aberdeen, all appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court yesterday charged with being involved in the supply of drugs.
The three men made no plea, were released on bail and are expected to return to court at a later date.
Detective Inspector Allen Shaw said information received from members of the public was “crucial.”
He said: “These seizures highlight our commitment to tackling drug misuse and serious and organised crime and how information from the public can make a difference.
“I cannot stress enough just how crucial the information we receive from the public is in helping us intercept illegal substances bound for communities in the north-east.
“Please continue to let us know your concerns about drugs by calling police on 101.”
