Man, 27, injured in ‘targeted attack’ outside Aberdeen supermarket

A man had to be taken to hospital after a “targeted attack” outside a supermarket in Aberdeen.
The 27-year-old was assaulted at around 10pm on Sunday in the car park of Asda on Jesmond Drive, Bridge of Don.
He was rushed to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary to be treated for facial injuries.
Police are searching for a man who was seen in the area at the time.
He is described to be white, 5ft11in, stocky and was wearing a grey tracksuit top.
Officers believe he may have been using a red car at the time.
Constable Tom Spencer said: “We believe this to be a targeted attack and officers would like to hear from anyone who was in the area and may have seen anything unusual or suspicious or has any information which may help us with our inquiries.”
He added: “CCTV inquiries are on-going and we have identified a number of people being in the car park around this time.
“If you were in the area at this time or know of someone who may have been, we would urge you to come forward with any information and contact us on 101 using reference number CF0034070218.”
