Police are in attendance to a car collision involving six vehicles on the B979 outside Westhill.
Police were called at 12.25pm to the incident where a black Jaguar collided with a white Honda causing both to leave the road and the Jaguar to overturn.
Four people were taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary including two children.
Following this, another four other vehicles — a white Mini Countryman, a white Citroen Nemo, a white Fiat 500 and a silver VW Golf Estate — shunted into one another.
Police investigations into the circumstances around the crashes are continuing.
A spokeswoman said: “It is still not yet known exactly how many people were involved but it is thought that no one is seriously injured.”
The road remains closed.
