A north-east road has reopened following a crash involving six cars earlier today.
The slippery B979 route between Westhill and Culter was held to blame after three cars veered from the carriageway this afternoon, with one landing on its roof.
Another three vehicles collided in the immediate aftermath.
The road was reopened at about 8pm, after the vehicles were recovered and it was gritted by the local authority.
