Man charged in relation to city centre robberies

A 27-year-old man has been charged in relation to two alleged robberies in Aberdeen.

The incidents took place at A&C Smart, King Street on January 23, and Premier Stores, Union Street on January 27.

The man is expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today.

Detective Inspector Allen Shaw said: “We are grateful to members of the public who have assisted us while enquiries have been carried out.”
