VIDEO: Plans announced for the world’s first craft beer hotel

Ellon based BrewDog has announced its plans to open a craft beer hotel in Aberdeenshire.

The 26-room DogHouse looks set to open in early 2019, and will sit on a 3.25 acre site next door to their current Ellon facility.

Each room will have a Punk IPA on tap and will include a shower-beer fridge.

Guests will also be able to watch brewers at work from rooms overlooking the new facility.

Money for the hotel and brewery was raised through a crowdfunding initiative.

Equity for Punks V helped fund the projects, raising over £12.5m from more than 27,000 investors across Europe.
