Dash cam footage has caught a delivery cyclist rudely gesturing behind him on a busy Aberdeen street.
Lewis Parley, 22, beeped his horn to indicate that the cyclist was breaking traffic laws.
Moments later, the Deliveroo cyclist stopped in the middle of the street to make the signal.
Mr Parley said: “It’s really not something that surprises me. It actually made me chuckle more than anything.
“Cyclists in Aberdeen don’t abide by any law. There’s a few only a few that do abide by the laws and regulations. Unfortunately, his downfall was that he was in a uniform.”
A Deliveroo spokesman said: “There is no excuse for this sort of behaviour. It is a contractual obligation that riders we work with abide by the rules of the road. The overwhelming majority do so in a courteous manner.
“Incidents like this are extremely rare, are inexcusable and undermine the hard-work and effort put in by the vast majority of riders to deliver great food direct to customers’ doors.”
The spokesman confirmed that the riders contract has been terminated.
