A woman has been charged after hundreds of pounds allegedly went missing from an Aberdeen care home.
A 30-year-old woman has been charged with theft following the alleged incident at Balnagask House on North Balnagask Road, Torry.
In August, a spokeswoman for Bon Accord Care, which runs the home, said the money had since been accounted for.
A police spokeswoman said: “We can confirm that a 30-year-old woman has been charged with theft in connection with this incident.
“A report has been prepared for the Procurator Fiscal.”
A court date has yet to be fixed.
Balnagask House was last inspected by the Care Inspectorate in February 2017, when 24 older people were living there.
Inspectors said the quality of care, support, management and leadership was “very good” – the second-highest rating, and they rated the quality of staffing as “good” – the third-highest rating.
