They were alerted to the blaze at Cairnbrogie, on the A920 Oldmeldrum to Pitmedden road, at 4pm. It is understood the fire broke out in the vehicle’s engine bay. Two fire engines were sent to the scene, with crews extinguishing the flames in approximately half an hour. Police officers were also in attendance to assist with traffic management.
