Police in Huntly are appealing for information after a number of vehicles were vandalised in the town.
Officers said that at around 11pm in the area of Bogie Street and Duke Street a group were acting in a disorderly manner.
PC Mark Paton said: “We received a report which we have been investigating.
“So far we have charged one individual in relation to this alleged incident, however we are keen to establish further details and possibly identify additional individuals that may have been involved.
“If anyone witnessed or has any information about this incident I would ask that they get in contact. Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101.”
A 17-year-old man from the Inverurie area has been charged in relation to vandalism and threatening and abusive behaviour and will be reported to the youth justice management unit.
