Police have appealed for information on an Aberdeenshire crash which left a male motorcyclist seriously injured.
The black Suzuki motorcycle he was riding collided with a tractor on the A947 Oldmeldrum to Fyvie road at the junction for Bethelnie.
The 50-year-old male rider of the motorbike was airlifted to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, and last night police said his injuries were “not life-threatening”.
The grey tractor had been towing a blue trailer at the time of the incident and its driver was uninjured.
Police are now appealing for any witnesses of the incident, which took place on Saturday at around 10.30am, to come forward.
The road was closed for six hours while police carried out investigations.
Sergeant Colin Matheson of the Road Policing Department said: “We have already spoken to several witnesses, however, I would like to ask anyone who witnessed the collision and has not yet spoken with us to please get in touch by calling 101.”
