A north-east businessman is to stand trial accused of assaulting his wife and daughter at his company’s base in Aberdeenshire.
Allan Brown, who owns BA Country Stores at Dunecht, is alleged to have assaulted Patricia Brownie at the building on Saturday, January 20.
Court papers claim the 59-year-old punched his wife “on the head, causing her to fall to the ground to her injury”.
A second charge alleges he also assaulted his daughter, Alana Dee Brownie, by “repeatedly punching her on head and body, causing her to fall to the ground to her injury”.
The accused, who lives at Crathie, denies the charges and is scheduled to go on trial on Thursday, March 29.
