Police are appealing for information following an assault in Malone’s Bar in Aberdeen over the weekend.
An assault on a 28-year-old man at the Irish bar took place around 10pm on Saturday.
The man suffered a head injury and two women aged 31 and 25 also sustained minor injuries.
Police would like to trace a man in connection with enquiries who is described as being aged in his twenties, around 5ft 7ins tall with short brown hair. He was wearing a black jacket and black jeans.
Constable Stuart Robertson said: “This was a violent assault which took place within a licensed premises. The victim was taken to hospital where he received treatment for a head injury.
“Two other members of the public, who had been enjoying their evening, were also injured as a result. A significant review of CCTV is taking place and we are following a positive line of inquiry.”
He added: “Alcohol related violence will not be tolerated and I would urge anyone who was present when the assault took place, or anyone with information relating to this incident, to make contact with the Police using reference number CF0061060318.”
