A man has been jailed after he was caught with a drugs stash worth close to £40,000.
Paul Dunn, 30, whose address was given as HMP Grampian, appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court yesterday after previously admitting three charges of being concerned in the supply of drugs
Police found cocaine, heroin and cannabis worth £39,710 at a flat on Grampian Road after carrying out a search on November 3 last year.
The court previously heard that officers also found a set of scales with the drugs which were in the kitchen of the property along with heroin worth £19,240, cannabis worth £8,000 and four packages of cocaine which had a combined value of £12,470.
Sheriff William Summers said he had “no alternative” but to impose a prison sentence and locked Dunn up for 21 months.
