Emergency services said he fell into the Cowie Water, which runs beside Stonehaven’s Glenury Crescent, on Tuesday morning. While he was able to get back out of the water, emergency crews had to be drafted in as he then became stuck on an embankment. Fire crews were called out to assist, with the causualty then taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary by ambulance. A police spokeswoman said: “The man was taken to ARI but he is not thought to have sustained any serious injuries.”
